Over the past years, at Saavi Energía, we have experienced significant expansion in our fleet and undergone a transformation in our sustainability practices. This development aligns with our commitment to generate reliable and efficient energy while integrating innovative solutions that minimize our environmental impact and strengthen the well-being of the communities where we operate.
Enabling the energy transition means addressing climate risks while supporting our stakeholders—customers and communities—on their journey toward cleaner energy sources.
In this regard, we focus on our goals of reducing emissions intensity and improving water efficiency by 2030, in addition to increasing our support for biodiversity protection programs and social initiatives that provide access to water and renewable energy for underserved communities.

Listen, Adapt, and Transform
One of the most significant advancements in our approach has been enhancing our ability to establish meaningful, two-way connections between our corporate sustainability priorities and local needs.
We dedicate resources to listening to communities, adapt our key initiatives without losing focus, and engage our teams in transforming operational contexts—listen, adapt, and transform for sustainability.
Our focus on reliability and efficiency from a sustainable perspective means building trust with and among our employees and neighboring communities. The foundation of our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) efforts also drives increasingly targeted social investment initiatives, alongside a strong commitment to health, safety, environment, and the implementation of our governance framework.
As part of our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, we launched the “Energía con Equidad” scholarship program in 2021 to support outstanding female students pursuing STEM careers who require financial assistance.
Beyond providing financial support of $500 USD per month to the recipients, our scholarship program also includes professional development activities such as mentorship sessions, plant visits, and student participation in company activities.
By the end of 2024, the program has 21 scholarship recipients from 10 universities across the country.
